I’m Rachel—though you may know me as Rachel in Exile.

This space was created with a few goals in mind:

In a landscape driven by speed, algorithms, and mass production, the careful, the handmade, and the intentional are often overlooked. We all know where to find big-name brands. But things made by hand is largely word of mouth.

In Magic: The Gathering, exile is a place where things are removed from the game. They are set aside, unseen, and often not coming back.

But not everything in exile is meant to stay lost.

This site exists to find and document the makers who create with intention: artisans crafting dice bags, deck boxes, alters, and objects that feel like they belong to our hobbies in a deeper way. To showcase my favorite content creators and those that have taught me in this journey. And lets be real… we’re all constantly learning.

I don’t set out to just list creators; I curate them. I am creating a one-stop shop where you can locate and support your local artist and their small business. Perhaps you’ll even make a new friend or find a new community to integrate with.

Each feature is chosen with intention. Some are established. Some are not, and relies on word of mouth. All are worth highlighting and shining a light upon.

Beyond the Small Business Directory, this is also a space for writing—on craft, on aesthetics, and on what it means to value bespoke craft in the hobby that we adore. It is about the VIBE.
